On Saturday 19 October 2024, our membership had the wonderful opportunity to participate in a highly important seminar on personal (and collective) Accountability. The seminar, which the majority of our members participated in, was organised by our Internal Relations and Gender Equity Committee, based on the Zine Accounting for Ourselves by CrimethInc.. We want to thank the multispace El taller for hosting us once again, and all our fellow Wobblies who attended!
As noted in our announcement regarding the seminar on Consent a few months back, in a country where sexual harassment in the workplace runs rampant, survivors are being victimised, perpetrators are not held accountable, and true sexual education is non-existent, the importance of such seminars cannot be overstated.
IWW-CYROC wants to take this opportunity to once more remind all fellow workers out there that every issue faced by a member of the working class is a worker issue, and that the One Big Union is here so we can deal with it collectively and decisively.
