After almost four years of organising efforts, we are proud to announce that the Industrial Workers of the World have finally set up a Regional Organising Committee in Cyprus! The Founding Convention and the election for officers was held on March 9 2024, in the historic working class neighborhood of Kaimakli, in Nicosia.

CYROC, true to the ideals and goals of the super-centenarian Industrial Workers of the World, aims to organise workers on both sides of the island, regardless of profession, industry, nationality, ethnic background, race, gender, sexuality, age, working situation (unemployed, students, pensioners, self-employed, homemakers) etc. If you are not an employer, a manager with hire/fire authority, a cop, a prison guard, and/or a paid officer of another union and/or political organisation, you are highly encouraged to join us in the struggle for the emancipation of the working class from wage slavery.

For the One Big Union!

Solidarity Forever!
