Armed with a plethora of newly-printed material, a group of wobbly wildcats were on site at the 7th Annual Music vs Fascism Festival in Limassol, on Saturday 13/7! This year’s fest was dedicated to the struggle against the genocide conducted by Israel against Palestinians.
It was so nice to meet and talk with so many people, as well as take the opportunity to discuss our labour woes among ourselves! Our “distro” of material included a new version of the Cypriot Labour Law for the Rank and Filer (in English, targeted primarily towards migrants), our introductory to the IWW “Think It Over” (in English and Greek), a tri-lingual (Turkish, English, Greek) brochure about the importance of the IWW model for Cyprus specifically, a short guide on the DOs and DON’Ts of workplace organising (in Greek), a brochure (in English and Greek) regarding reproductive labour, as well as stickers and posters!
