Romantic Retro Garnet Toi et Moi Ring mano cornuto maker's mark SDJ• Size 4A charming retro ring (c. 1930) inspired by turn of the century styles this toi et moi (French for "you and me") ring has been a favourite motif since Napoleon proposed to Josephine with a twin stone ring. Though one stone (the slightly smaller) appears to have been a slightly later replacement, the depths of the garnets add another layer of passion and intensity to the romantic sentiments of the style. Very good vintage condition with reasonable wear
