Distilled in 1988 and aged for three and a half decades, this is a regal, elegant expression offering an array of bright tropical fruit notes. Drawn from a single cask, just 194 bottles have been released. A treat of a release from North British, a grain distillery which serves the wider Scotch industry.

Nose: Some growing but not overwhelming peat on the front of the nose

This is a big dram – and a delicious one

Finish: Long with more of that peppery smoke
