Pere Labat 2011 Silver Opus Rum 700ml (ABV 43%) Indian WhiskyA remarkable ageless rum presented in a magnificent silver bottle. It echoes the Black Opus, a cuve that has been a resounding success, presented for its part as one would imagine in an entirely black bottle. The result of a Creole column distillation, this Silver Opus has benefited from double ageing: first 8 years in bourbon barrels, then an additional 3 years in white burgundy barrels. The tasting reveals aromas of figs, cinnamon and vanilla.

It is slightly smoky and combines with sweet aromas

which imparts subtle sweetness and character to the spirit
