A much more elegant nose displays cool and ultra-fresh aromas of both red and dark pinot fruit that is trimmed in much more subtle oak nuances

As one might reasonably expect this is notably more elegant than the old vines Gevrey with its ripe but cool and airy array of essence of black cherry

ripe and very ripe berries leave a mouth filling impression

This needs to add depth but even so it’s very promising

I doubt it. The wine was absolutely beautiful, even a touch reserved, but the trademark Bouchard elegance was on full display. Bouchard's Champagnes remain some of my very favorite wines on the planet. This bottle was stunning. Antonio Galloni
