Clos Rougeard, Saumur Breze Vintage:2015The nose of the 2019 Brz is richly fruited and creamy, showing tropical pineapple characters and giving the impression of opulence. It is concentrated and powerful with real intensity of flavor. Well judged oak use lends a smoky, spice note while acidity and salinity pull it all together. This is dry Chenin Blanc at its bestripe, powerful and fresh.

But the aromas don't stop there

A ripe yet cool and airy nose puts forward essence of red currant

lengthy and ever-so-slightly warm finale

deprived the same delineation and mineralité by that summer's warmth

leading to a minty undercurrent with a waft of cinnamon
