The supple and equally refined medium weight flavors exhibit a very fine bead of minerality that runs the length of the wine to the precise and energetic finish that exudes a subtle saline character

all wrapped in a mochainflected finish

This year was rainy until end of August and a wipeout was saved by a good September and October

The wine was vinified using 50% whole cluster and aged for around 22 months in 65% new French oak barrique and 35% used French barrique

Quintarelli, Valpolicella Classico Superiore Vintage:2003 The 2018 NoThe 2003 is an unusually bold, ripe version of the Valpolicella Classico Superiore. Black cherries, plums, mocha and spices all flesh out in this exuberant wine. The warmth of the vintage is felt in the wines contours and early appeal. My suggestion is to drink the 2003 over the next few years. As always, the style is a bit eccentric, as the 2003 spent a good six years in cask. Antonio Galloni
