Having cut an iconic swathe thorough alternative rock in the late 80s and 1990s with her band Babes in Toy land, Kat Bjelland reemerged from a brief musical hiatus in 2001 with Katastrophy Wife's debut Amusia, recorded in her home state of Minneapolis, Minnesota, with her then husband, Glen Mattson
