リリースに先立ってインスタグラムにて公開されたUyama Hiroto x Hanah Springのセッションは、ファンはもちろん、国内外のリスナーから多くのリアクションと高評価を得た。期待が高まる中、両名義によるシングル曲がroph recordingsからリリースが決定。Uyama Hirotoの奏でる流麗なピアノの旋律に、透明感のあるHanah Springのコーラスが交わることで、心地よい涼感のあるサウンドに仕上がった「You Don't Have To Cry」。後半にかけてはサックスと共鳴するかのような、ミニー・リパートンをも彷彿させる伸びやかなハイトーン・ヴォイスがハイライトとなり、ラストはエモーショナルな余韻から、耳に残るビートがリスナーをリアリティへと連れ戻してくれる…聴き終わった時に心が洗われたような、清々しい気持ちになれる一曲となっている。カップリングには、ドリーミーなムードの「Making Love By The Ocean」を収録。
